摘要:
曾孝谷《五十步轩剧谈·序》写于民国初年“戏剧革新”出现诸多乱象之时。在对近世戏曲发展作简要回眸时,他指出,社会矛盾丛生交集的时代,也是戏曲的兴盛繁荣时期,戏曲艺术格调产生“花、雅”分野,既是戏曲艺术格调的分野,也是时代发展之必然。他看重中国传统“礼乐”文化与中国古代戏曲的文化渊源关系,认为恪守范本、传承经典、墨守师承、务为高尚,是戏曲经典传承不可或缺的要义。在对“新旧戏剧之争”的批判中,作者寄望现代戏剧健康发展并产生积极的审美社会功用。
Abstract:
Zeng Xiaogu’s Preface to Dramatic Criticism of the Fifty Steps House was written in the early years of the Republic amid an uproar of "drama innovation" . He pointed out in his brief review of the dramatic development of the early years that an era of social contradictions usually gives rise to a prosperous age of drama and the division of the artistic style of drama into 花(flower)and 雅 (elegant)" is a historical inevitability as well as a stylistic difference. He values the historical relationship between the traditional Chinese "ritual music" and the origins of ancient Chinese opera, insisting that keeping to the norms ,inheriting the classics , abiding by the teachings of the great masters and aiming for the noble and the sublime are indispensable elements to the transmitting of dramatic classics.In his critique of the dispute between "old and new drama", the author hopes that modern drama will develop healthily and produce positive aesthetic social functions.
